Shu Uemura Eyelash Curler the Art of Beauty

Recently, I wrote about the roll away, the lash builder, and the ultimate natural mascara. For articles regarding those products please click on their links (Roll Away, Lash Builder & Ultimate Natural Mascara). With those 3 products and today’s eyelash curler, they are known as the Ultimate Eye Essential from Shu Uemura. It is a package of 4 products specifically targeted to create beautiful eyes with ease and simplicity.

Shu Uemura Eyelash Curler

The eyelash curler is priced at $19.00 and is sold at

Known as the legendary eyelash curler with many awards, this specially designed curler features the perfect shape and size for all eyes. On the back of the box we have the directions for use which tells us how this epic tool is to be used. Simply position the open curler near the roots of your lashes and squeeze the curler gently. Hold it for a few seconds and curl it in an outward and upward direction.

The entire frame is made of high quality stainless steel with feather weight. Even with everyday use, it’s less likely to lose shape or alignment, and it lasts. The handles are smooth and very easy to hold.

There is one silicon pad already installed that shaped like a mushroom, providing stay-put edge and added protection while curling. The hinge is precisely designed so the pressure on the curling pad is evenly distributed, which means you have all the lashes perfectly curled from corners to the center.

The included replacement pad is just another money saver. If the original pad wears down, I just pop in the replacement pad and the curler will be new again. Or else I’ll need to get a brand new curler. The rounded edges has the right cushion degree and it never pinches the delicate eye skin.

Shu Uemura’s curler has always been one of the best curlers out there. Over the years I’ve tried more than 10 different eyelash curlers. Some of them are good but none of them fits my eye shape better than the Shu curler. I can aways get my lashes curled in one go and not breaking them. No one in the world wants to see her broken lashes after curling them. This alone makes the Shu eyelash curler the HG curler. Not even that, the beautifully curled lashes look natural and stay curled all day even after I take off mascara at night. So this is the one eyelash curler I highly recommend if you haven’t tried it already.

I’ve been using this lash curling for 4 years. I really wish it’s more easily available in the US. I did manage to order a backup during their black Friday sale. They have 20% off discount.

This curler is by far the one I use the most. Shu’s curler is so easy to use and was accessible almost in every department store!

Shu lash curler is one my favorites. It fits my eye shape pretty well too. I do wish it’s a bit cheaper though.

I always wanted to try the Shu eyelash curler but now they’re completely out of the market. Maybe I’ll just order it online.

Have you tried the Shiseido lash curler? I heard it fits Asian eyes better than the Shu curler?

I haven’t tried it before but I will give it a look sometime.
