Shu Uemura red:juvenus Vitalizing Renewing Night Cream Review

Fruits are a person’s best friends when it comes to beauty. The amount of hydration and moisturizing effect they bring are tremendous! Speaking of fruits, lately I’ve been eating a bunch of tomatoes (tomatoes are actually fruits.) Oh they are so sweet and tasty, full of goodness too. Just mix it with a bit of finely milled salt / pepper and drizzle some white truffle oil and it will be mouth-watering in no time. Or you can use your most favorite olive oil with a bit of minced herbs and garlic.

Shu Uemura’s red:juvenus Vitalizing Renewing Night Cream brings us all the red colored fruits in this jar of cream.

The cream is $85.00 for 50 ml at

The outside packaging is a simple yet florescent colored box. The cream is enriched with red phyto ingredients. You can expect it to have tomatoes, amalaki, and pomegranate. This night cream is designed to boost energy flow in skin cells by repairing the skin’s barrier function while we sleep! The next morning you feel revitalized with a beautiful, radiant, and nourished skin.

When you open the box, you see a high tech red plastic jar with a clear spatula. The design is just amazing especially the feel of the smooth edges. Once you open the jar, you can immediately smell the pleasant fruity scent that’s very refreshing. It reminds me of pomegranate. The cream itself is very rich and creamy. It looks yummy too.

All you really need is a scoop of the cream by using the provided spatula. So here I am showing you a bit of the cream on my hand. The consistency is rich but not overly thick, feels very comfortable on the skin.

After smoothing it out, the cream melts into the skin evenly with fast absorption. It is moisturizing but not greasy.

After using Shu Uemura’s night cream, every morning I feel my face refreshed and hydrated. It seems like the cream created a moisture mask around my face, nourishing it as I sleep. The skin looks a lot more radiant and feels softer and more supple. Even makeup goes on smoother and easier. The cream also smells so yummy which makes me always crave for fruits! So I’ve been eating a lot of tomatoes. Maybe next time I’ll pick up some pomegranates.

Fruity night cream sounds so yummy. I love Shu Uemura eyelash curler and their cleansing oil but never tried the skincare line. I really love the packaging and the texture of the cream. I need to put this on my wish list.

That “Fruity night cream” made me laugh. But ya, Shu Uemura comes out with the nicest skincare line. Always reminds me of fruits.

This night cream looks very tempting, it’s calling my name haha. But I need to finish up my Chanel ultra correction first.

I actually just started using this cream. It really works great so I order another one during their 20% off event.
