Soap & Paper Factory Lavender Delicately Perfumed Soy Candle

Hope everyone had a wonderful Easter~!! I took the family out to the local Easter event and boy was it swamped with people. The competition was fierce everyone was scavenger hunting eggs left and right. Luckily, my daughter sought and hunted down a few eggs… Ahem, leave no child behind… Fast forward…

Recently I gotten my hands on a product that I absolutely love, a really nice Soy Candle that is delicately perfumed with Lavender.

The candle has a great scenario on the back stating:

“Hot summer day. South of France. Your sense are alive. You are in a field of tall lavender. All you can hear is the buzzing of the bees and the warm breeze through the flowers. All you can feel is the cool earth under your bare feet. You take a sip of your delicious wine and pause. The overwhelming fragrance of lavender takes you away to a happy place. Hey… We’ll meet you there!”

Description: You will literally be transported right to the south of France the second you light this candle!!  so go ahead! Our lavender is a beautiful blend of sweet lavender, so it feels more light hearted than most lavender.  The scent is not overwhelming, yet very relaxing….and will really uplift spirits, and fill a room with positive energy. (Source: soapanpaperfactory.com)

Just take a moment, close your eyes, and imagine where you would want to be since summer is right around the corner… I know where I want to be… I want to be on vacation!

Soap & Paper Factory really struck me because with its soy made candle inside a glass the aroma is not too overwhelming but just al dente (just like cooking pasta).

I had two different experiences with the candle.

The first experience was putting it smack dab right in the middle of the dining table and lighting it up. Moments after lighting it up a feint smell of lavender started filling up the room. It was cool and relaxing. Even eating dinner with the candle lit seemed very romantic. It was like a candle light dinner.

My second experience (which I definitely recommend) with the candle was when I was taking a relaxing hot bath relieving my aches and pains. I lit the candle right next to the bathtub. Closing my eyes and just relaxing my nerves, muscles, and joints was great, but with the scent of lavender clearing away my nose and calming my mind down was even better!

Hence both my experiences with the candle were phenomenal.

– “Definitely” the non-overwhelming soothing scent after lit.
– The 75 hours burn time compared to any Fresh’s $48 candles with average burn time of 50 hours tops.
– The candle is made from Soy and it’s “Green.”
– Positively uplifts spirit yet relaxing at the same time.
– Packaging holds a very elegant look, which sometimes feel like royalty.

– From my previous post about the Body Scrub from S&PF it is a little hard to get because it is carried in only targeted stores and online.
– Even though the price at $28 is a lot cheaper compared to many other brands I’ve seen, I think if pricing was aggressively priced in the lower $20s it would be a plus.

After opening the package and putting the candle on the dining table, I thought, “Probably this candle is another one of those overpowering ones that would make me lose my dinner appetite.” But miraculously the smell swoop me off my foot and I was instantly in love. The lingering smell was nice!
