Soap & Paper Factory Patch NYC Solid Perfume

Soap & Paper Factory collaborates with Patch NYC bringing us a well defined luxurious solid perfume line. It is beautifully packaged and sophisticate scented. Today, I will be featuring the Pipe, Whale, and Skull from the line. Also see Soap and Paper Factory regular solid perfume line here.

Each Patch NYC Solid Perfumes come in a half ounce miniature sized jar for easy carrying. They are 100% hand made with love and completely cruelty free. All you need to do is twist off the cap and start applying around pulse points such as the inner wrist area.

Starting off with Pipe. The scent is sweet with flavors of Vanilla but also Bourbon and Cognac. Enclosed includes Tobacco and Patchouli, but they aren’t very noticeable.

Just like the Whale, this perfume scent is mighty. There are notes of L’orange, Patchouli, Basil, and Jasmine. One smell of it give you the citrusy scent along with woodiness but also a hint of Jasmine. The scent is a bit complex if you try to decipher it because the Patchouli and L’orange is what you might find as the main scent.

Finally, Skull solid perfume comes with notes of Black Tea, Anise, Basil, and Citrus. Anise and Citrus are the most notable scents. If you smell the perfume closely you can also sense Basil as well. This perfume reminds me of a composition from countries of South East Asia. The countries include Thailand, Hong Kong, and Southern China! A lot of dishes from those countries use Anise, Basil, and Citrus. Skull is very refreshing and something oddly different from other usual scents. And the little bow under the skull is just adorable!

Tiny as they may seem, solid perfumes are easy to apply almost like a balm! You don’t need to worry about spilling it like liquid since they are solid! They can be carried everywhere and be used when you feel like you need to replenish the scent. Patch NYC solid perfumes are probably one of the most complex scents compared to the other lines. Do check them out!

There are more solid perfumes. I thought the post with the other 2 was enough but I didn’t know they have more complex smelling ones.

It’s not that bad. It’s quite interesting.

What are the usual lasting time on these? Do they stain clothes?

They don’t stain clothes but I would say to keep it away from the fabrics if possible. The lasting time on these are relatively short for me. But you could still smell a faint scent after a few hours.
