Sue Devitt Color Luxury Lipstick Rai Lei Swatch and Review

This fall it’s all about classic smoky eyes and bright lips. With a berry plum color, Sue Devitt’s Color Luxury Lipstick Rai Lei is perfect color for the fall season.

Color luxury lipstick shares very similar packaging design with all other Sue Devitt’s products. It is simple and relaxing. It even matches my site background.

Here is the list of ingredients comprised in this lipstick. It even has tomato extract, yum!

The lipstick’s outside shell is made of lightweight shiny silver plastic. It feels smooth to the touch and it’s friction free. The size of the tube is close to Hello Kitty’s Sweet Gloss, but a bit longer and slimmer. It’s $20.00 @ 2g on

The product description from the website says:

This deeply hydrating formulation, infused with Sepilift Complex, an anti-aging and firming ingredient, which rejuvenates and protects lips, so that lip color stays perfectly in place. Orchid Extract imparts an emollience to skin, while anti-oxidant properties of Vitamins A and E protect from free radicals. The luxurious finish provides superior coverage.

The picture of the lipstick just before using.

My first impression upon just one swipe was, oh man it’s moisturizing! See how emollient it looks after swiping it on my arm.

And my skin felt so smooth and hydrated that it’s almost like a thin layer of jelly. At the same time the lipstick gives a shiny radiant look. The coverage from end to end was very balanced.

Sue Devitt’s lipstick really feels luxurious on the lips. It’s like a berry colored lip balm. The formula is fantastic with deeply hydrating ingredients that helps my lips stay moisturized all day. It has medium coverage but build-able. The texture is ultra smooth and glide on effortless. I love how radiant it looks upon application and it stays like that for a long time. The berry plum color is great for fall and looks so yummy. I really wish it had berry flavor so that way I can match it with my favorite Naked Juice.

This lipstick looks really similar to my HK lipgloss. I’m glad it stays moisturized for you. I’d love to get it a try. Do you think this color will also look good for my mom?

I think the color is great for everyday wear. I mean, the color isn’t like black or green or even blue! It’s a red that is moisturizing and stays on for a long time.

I really like rich colored lipstick. But I would love to try something brighter. What’s your suggestion?

I think from Sue Devitt’s Color Luxury Lipstick line Bali, Vichy, and Samoa would be your best bet. Those are the brighter shades.
