Tom Ford Violet Blonde Private Blend Eau de Parfum Review

With the color like a vintage cognac and bottle shape like a rare whisky, Tom Ford Beauty presents a stunning new scent, Violet Blonde Private Blend Eau de Parfum. It is ravishing, sensual, and refined.

First of all, let’s take a look at Violet Blonde visual images. The model for this bottle is none other than the beautiful Dutch bombshell Lara Stone. Her blonde hair scattered across the violet petals give the contrasting colors much of a regal look.

Tom Ford says, “Violet Blonde has the spirit of a classical, European fragrance. It is formal, polished, and yet draws you in closer and closer, like a beautifully dressed woman whose refined presence charms, then fascinates, and ultimately seduces you.

When I first saw Violet Blonde, the color and the shape of the bottle remind me of cognac. The difference is that this bottle is ribbed on all sides giving itself an easy grasp while holding it. “TOM FORD VIOLET BLONDE” debossed on a gold plaque that shines ever so bright is fixated with rivets on all corners to the bottle. The design and the plaque depict power and prestige of this perfume.

The well decorated bottle has a rather easy to open cap but is very tightly sealed once put back. Right on the neck of the bottle is a gold ring that harmonizes between the color of the ring and the color of the parfum. The small detail makes this bottle even more feminine and elegant.

I have been wearing this scent for the whole weekend. Since it’s categorized as a parfum so you’d think the initial contact being strong or even overpowering. But it really isn’t like that. On the contrary, it was rich and silky yet refreshing. The finest and rarest ingredients like violet leaf absolute and orris root add a lot of characteristics while jasmin sambac gives it a unique floral twist. The lasting power is like no other, for hours and hours the violet-orris relationship deepens as they linger and melt into the body.

Imagine you were watching a scene of movie, in a sensual violet garden a lady in a graceful gold dress appeared in front of a gentleman. He gave her his favorite cognac shaped perfume. She accepted it and gave it a couple spritz. The air instant filled with intimacy…

That was exactly how I felt towards Violet Blonde. Even my husband agreed, “opening a bottle of Tom Ford’s Violet Blonde is like opening a bottle of L’Essence de Courvoisier.” The prestigious and the luxurious feel are one and the same. Violet Blonde gives a striking and long lasting lingering scent that doesn’t fade away. It’s the best and most precious ingredients in the world that make this bottle happen. Tom Ford is a real diamond when it comes to perfumery.

Tom Ford is such a genius. How can he think of an idea making this perfume bottle looks like a cognac. I must check this out.
