Urban Decay 15 Year Anniversary Eyeshadow Collection Swatch Review and Deep End Look

U and D in high styled 3D crystal like texture and in the color of regal purple?! That’s insane. But what’s behind it is more insane. Urban Decay  is celebrating their 15 year anniversary with a super palette, limited edition Urban Decay 15 Year Anniversary Eyeshadow Palette!

The box comes in a luxury outer shell casing in plush velour.

Here is the memorable box that holds the goods taken out of the outer shell.

On the back of the outer shell there is a short description telling you what this palette is all about. Celebrating Urban Decay 15 year anniversary, the case is made out of gunmetal filigree with 15 never before seen colors for eyeshadow! That is a lot of brand new eyeshadows! There are then pictures of how the eyeshadow colors look on the bottom.

On the back of our lovely case is the description depicting how much grams each eyeshadow comes in at (15 x  1.3g). There is also the symbol for cruelty free with rabbit ears sticking out!

The details on the side of this collectable case is well designed and flawless. The colors are just very well coordinated between the gunmetal and purple.

…And here are our shadows! 15 shadows are categorized as 3 groups from left to right are, neutrals, brights and darks. I will go into details on each in a bit that will go from top to bottom and left to right for ease.

On the bottom right side there is a easy to pop open hole where you just sticking a toothpick immediately pops out the palette.

Here is the back of the eyeshadow pan and how the case was constructed.

Underneath all those mumbo jumbo eyeshadows is where after the colors have been used up this box can then be used as a keepsake box for jewelry or any valuables that you may have.

Now here is our first 5 colors. We have Midnight Rodeo (Bronze copper with gold glitter), Midnight 15 (Iridescent taupe), Vanilla (Yellow beige), Flow (Champaigne), and Chase *not Chase Bank* (Golden copper).

After just one swipe, I immediately notice how pigmented they are! I dare to say they’re the most pigmented shadows I’ve ever seen. The texture is quite smooth except Midnight Rodeo which has glitters but overall they’re great. I love how shimmery and sparkly they look. They aren’t too extreme either so good for women who want a bit of an enhancement on the natural side.

Our next set of eyeshadows are from the middle which include Tainted (Dusty pink with gold shimmer), Junkshow (Hot pink with blue iridescent), Omen (Lavender with blue iridescent), Evidence (Gunmetal blue), and Deep End (Peacock green).

With a much brighter look at the colors on this set, I found them to be extremely highlighting and even more pigmented. Having swatched them on my arm the colors are easily applied without much effort. These colors are fun and playful.

Our final set of colors are from the far right side which are Deeper (Dark brown), M.I.A. (Chocolate), Ace (Gunmetal gray with silver shimmer), Blackout (Charcoal black), and Half Truth (Iridescent purple).

These color are more on the dark side with a somewhat smoky taste to it. They were also very pigmented and shines under light because of the iridescence on them except Blackout is matte.

Finally, here’s a look I did with Deep End. Boy it was bright!

The palette is a must have for all Urban Decay fans and those who are just getting into the brand. You get a nice palette with 15 eyeshadows at a bang to the buck price, not to mention the high quality collectible keepsake box. 3 distinctly different sets of colors between neutrals, brights, and darks will get you covered from day to night. There are so much creativity that can be done with this palette especially the different colors can be mix and matched around for fun! Overall, the palette gives us highly pigmented colors which are also long lasting. The best thing about it is you can apply which ever color your mood sets in at!
