Weekend Adventure at Japan Town and Beauty Blogger Linkins

Another week has passed. Time just flies so quickly… This week I had fun in Japan Town & Union Square in San Francisco.

Starting off, I went to Japan Town in the afternoon and found out they had an event that I missed! What a bummer. Regardless, I took pics of the place anyways.

Supposedly the event was for J-POP (Music) Summit Festival 2011. There were a lot of people there dressed up in cosplay and anime characters.

There is a poster up on the building signifying Japan Town in an Anime drawing.

There is also a DAISO here where they just expanded into a larger store. They took over an old antique store that was next door before.

Yes it’s Bleach on the left, Super Mario in the middle and Star Wars on the bottom. This was taken at a Toy / Hobby store in the Kinokuniya Building.

They had so much toys and collectibles just like these two characters which I don’t quite know who they are.

More toys! There is also the Android Collectible. Android is Google’s smartphone. Last but not least it’s Pokemon! The order from left to right is Snivy, Oshawott, and Tepig. That red nose is actually a pig!

So I heard Tom Ford is ending his white cased lipstick collection to align with his new black colored casing. Here is the set with the promo pic of the old design.

At the Neiman’s they had a display of Guerlain!

There was also a Chanel promo picture of the 3 nail polishes, Quartz, Graphite, and Peridot!

Saks was putting up Chanel No 19 Parfum all over the store.

There was also some publicity on L’OR DE VIE from Dior. The SA asked if I wanted a Makeover and if I wanted to join an event coming up next week. Guess what I responded?

Neiman’s also had the new Le Metier De Beaute’s skincare line!

Smashbox!

Although this is the last shot, it’s a corner shot of Dolce and Gabbana’s counter at Saks!

That’s it for this week. Hope everyone enjoyed their weekend!

JTown’s are always fun especially the different little shops and dessert / food you can eat. You don’t have any specialty areas where you are ?

I have yet to try the LMdB skincare line. They look so lux.

The LMdB skincare line seems to be priced pretty aggressive against other brands but at the same time their packaging is indeed lux. As far as the product goes I have yet to give it a try as well.

Yea me too. I’m debating whether I should grab a white lipstick or should I wait for the new collection.

    Thanks for mentioning:)
Actually I was writing that mask was great, effective, but a bit pricy. We had some discussion in comments, why it can be so expensive. Girls talk that key is ingredients and researches. I’m not sure I’m completely convised.

      You’re very welcome!
Ha good question! Now I wonder why some masks are more expensive than others, maybe it is the ingredients, maybe not. I’ll just use whatever smells nice and works for me.

I really wish we have a D&G counter here. Why does it have to be Saks exclusive =(

Yea so true. Why don’t they sell it in more stores?! I hate it whenever I want to see D&G, I gotta drive up to San Francisco.
