Weekend Adventures at Bi-Rite Creamery and Beauty Blogger Linkins

Over the past weekend, headed over to Bi-Rite Creamery a very notable and famous ice cream shop in the city (SF). They were featured on Food Network before because of Aida Mollenkamp!

The ice cream shop uses ingredients such as Straus Family products and Maldon Sea Salt. Straus is famous for their milk in glass containers sold at Whole Foods Market.

So here is the shop’s title and plaque displayed proudly.

This place is a must go if you’re in San Francisco area. They are famous for a variety of things such as adding olive oil and salt flakes on ice cream…. YES OLIVE OIL!

The squirrel is cute with 4 scoops of ice cream and a cone. I wonder if he would be able to finish it considering he is small in size….

Their menu is always displayed outside in a glass case.

They also let their patron know what the flavors are for the day.

Cakes!!!! They bake cakes whether ice cream or not.

What I had was creme fraiche, salted caramel, and balsamic strawberry. I asked for a bit of olive oil drizzles and became depressed because they had changed it to bergamot flavored. They use to have the original one without flavoring which is quite good. Salted caramel is my all time favorite. You can see I asked for it first so it’s buried on the bottom.

What hubby had was Malted Vanilla and Honey Lavender on a Sam’s Sunday which had Maldon Sea Salt, Olive Oil, and Creme! Sadly, his was also bergamot for the Olive Oil…..

That’s not it. They have another shop right next to the main creamery shop, selling to go cakes and stuff.

Last week I read a few notable articles from beauty bloggers that were worthwhile and I would like to share:

Blondycandy gave us a whole look at the new YSL Fall 2011 Ombres 5 Lumieres Midnight Garden.

The Beauty Look Book showed us what Burberry was made of for Fall 2011 with 2 lipsticks and an eye shadow.

Maddy Loves took great photos of the IMATS over at Vancouver Part 1  and Part 2.

Vanity Fashionista had a great collection of Bobbi Brown Catwalk Set to show.

Jamilla had a gorgeous FOTD using NARS Mayflower Lipstick and RMK Spring Modern 05 Coral Green Eye Palette.

Nic Nic gave us a fabulous tutorial on how to lighten eyebrows with Canmake Eyebrow Makeup.

Thank you for sharing your Sunday)) This creamery is awesome! Local milk, salt flakes, balsamic strawberry…. I should look if we have something similar in LA. I am such an ice cream lover! My favorite is “That’s how I roll” in Cold Stone, I can live on it!
Thank you for mentioning, so sweet))
