Weekend Daiso Loot

Daiso

Over the weekend I went to check out my local Daiso store trying to find the Daiso Detergent for Puff and Sponge that Dina mentioned in her post and Brush liner that Lulu mentioned in hers. Spending almost an hour there, I just realized how I missed out on this store. I always thought it was just a cheap Asian dollar store but it actually offers way beyond that. It has nearly everything from dog to candy, kitchen to bathroom, you name it, at really cheap price starting at $1.50. Of course the quality ranges a lot too. But overall it has become my new favorite store. So what did I get?

Some fake nail tips and micro beads for nail decoration. My clear nail tips are almost gone so this time I want to get the natural color instead. That way it could save me the time for base color. And these micro beads are not the typical loose beads that you see at craft stores. They’re already pre-made in a chain form and they come in different colors too.

Disposable cloth masks are great when I do nails. 10 masks for $1.50, you can’t beat the price. The silicone spatula was for stirring and mixing UV gels but it seemed too soft. Maybe I’ll use that for a giveaway. Also got the pincette, great for picking up nail jewels and stuff.

I wanted to find some organizers for my gels and files but they don’t have anything suitable. Instead I’m going to use a origami box and a pencil holder for now.

Some S-shape hooks and a pair of craft scissors. Though they spell the word “scissors” wrong, the quality is really good. I almost spent double the price at Office Depot and they don’t come in a case so of course I’ll settle with these Scisoors.

A cute piggy sponge for my counter. It doesn’t absorb as much water like it said but that’s OK. I still love ya, piggy!

So that was my little Daiso loot. I was going to pick up more baking tools from the kitchen department but the sales kept gibberishing about the time is now blah blah blah. It was so annoying. I’ll have to come at another time.

At first I thought, Daiso??? Why haven’t I heard of this wonderful place?! Of course, because there isn’t one near me. :(

I like that beauty spatula lol. I think eventually I’ll need to find one or something similar. The piggie sponge is adorable!

OMG, I think your Daiso has way more beauty tools than mine!! We have lots of household stuff (but I don’t look at those). My dear, give their charcoal mask or nose pack a try, it does wonders in pulling out heads from my nose!!!
