Giorgio Armani Spring 2013 Face & Eye Palette #1 Coral Bliss Swatch Review
Spring is greeted with Giorgio Armani in an all glossy white palette design that enhances the overall color tones of the shadows as well as the blush. It makes going from Winter to Spring a whole lot easier and lovelier.
Each year, Giorgio Armani comes out vibrantly awesome colors for Spring. Last Spring was filled with 4 shadows that portrayed a sunny approach to the season. The packaging design was sleek and compact yet fully face and eyeshadow packed with dual tier. This season with the case design being glossy white, shadow colors are still ultra pigmented and lively through Armani’s micro-fil and color-fil technology.
Having two palettes #1 Coral Bliss and #2 Rose Bliss available for the season, I will be showing you #1 today.
First impression towards the palette is very cool to look with pureness and elegance. Top tier includes a full sized mirror along with a delicate coral blush. The second tier holds colors that are quite chill, icy like to be exact. But when put together, the palette serves a great transition from Winter to Spring.
Included in the palette is a dual tipped and a single tip brush. There is also a get the look diagram that features both a day and evening look. Everything is still in the clean color of white.
Starting with the top deck. The color is a Coral toned sheer blush that illuminates after application. On the swatch photo below, you can see a heavily swatched color stripe to the left and the blush evenly applied with soft shimmer depicted on the right. Characteristics of the formula includes a soft silky texture that is creamy to the touch. Color is very easily applied on and long lasting.
On the second deck, the eyeshade colors are quite fresh and cool to the look. There are three altogether of which are luminous and satin. Colors from left to right include Opal (eggshell white), Shimmer Greige (frosty brown) and Swimming Pool Turquoise (electric blue). Colors can be blended and layered to perfection.
Lastly, here is the swatch of all 3 shimmery satin colors. The texture is soft and creamy that applies seamlessly smooth on the lids. Pigmentation is phenomenal that are bold and vibrant. The shadows are quite long lasting, they don’t fade or smudge until at the end of the day when you’re ready to remove.
Soft coral, shimmering cool colors are very Spring appropriate. With both the shadows and blush combined into a single palette, carrying it in the purse is also functional and trendy. I really like the glossy white palette theme for a change though the regular palettes is more classy looking.
