Laura Mercier Holiday 2011 Souffle Body Creme Sampler Set Review

The Holiday is about being jolly and happy. Also, being festive too! I am afraid of the holiday season because I tend to eat a lot more sweets than I should. Especially the peppermint barks, rum cakes, and all sorts of dessert with hot chocolate. They have so many varieties of hot chocolate these days that it isn’t even funny anymore… But what’s better than having body creme that smells like dessert. You will be craving all day long!

This is exactly what Laura Mercier has done to me and I love it! The holiday Souffle Body Creme Sampler Set is so sweet that I am drooling whenever I use the creme.

The set comes in 4 flavors for your drool factor at 3 oz each. This set is valued at $50.00 and can be bought from

By the way, each creme is color coordinating with its label color. It also coordinates with the flavor as well. The first creme is pistache. The smell is pretty authentic and reminds me of the nut. Notice the color is a tad green.

Next we have the traditional creme brulee. Creme brulee is something I love eating. After using the handheld blaster fire gun for caramelizing the top of the dessert but the color underneath the caramelized top is a bit light orange yellow. It smells sweet and eggy.

Fresh fig is purple on the outside providing that extra sweetness in the inside. I remember when eating fig for the first time and man… I didn’t like it for some reason. Even now I still think the body creme smells better than the fruit.

Finally, probably my favorite, almond coconut milk. I could visually see it and taste it from a mile away. The scent on this makes everything else not as tasty as this one. But do keep in mind that I love almond and coconut a lot!

Enough about dessert! After you apply the creme you can find it to be glowy and radiant in appearance. The richness adds a lot of moisturizing factors to your skin. This is something that is a must have for the cold winter because it protects you from all sorts of dryness.

These gourmet dessert body cremes smell so yummy but they feels even better on the skin! The texture is light and whippy with maximum moisturizing effect. They absorb fast and leave skin a radiant glow that lasts all day long. But don’t worry these aren’t heavy or greasy so you can apply them right before go to bed and not worrying about they get onto your bedding. Just wake up in the morning and feel yourself pampered. You may even dream about eating creme brulee. Now that’s really the beginning of craving.

I love Laura Mercier body and skincare. Creme de Pistache is so yummy, I have the trio set. But the sampler is even better. I may get this.

Thank you for the review! I’ve always wanted to try something from Laura Mercier body care range. Unfortunatelly this brand isn’t sold in Ukraine. And when I come in states I buy so many things that I just don’t have free space for body care producst (they are ofted heavy).
