Shu Uemura Frame Wax Intense Control Styler Bamboo Extract Review

Ugh, I hate bad hair days or even the days when my hair looks like an unruly mess. I am occasionally mad to the point that I want to pull my hair out. Luckily, hair sculpting and designing products are out there to save our lives. To name a few, there’re gel, mousse, wax, oil, etc. I recently started to fall in love with hair wax. It is comprehensive and easy to use. It holds my hair in shape and style like a charm. I’ve tried many brands but nothing beats Shu Uemura’s Frame Wax.

Shu Uemura Art of Hair Frame Wax is one heavy duty and intense control styler wax. It’s probably one of the most controlling hair sculpting products ever made. The wax is enriched with Bamboo Extract.

The Frame Wax is more or so a super styling glue for your hair. It really isn’t glue though more like wax that keeps your hair in check and control. This styling wax is great for short unruly hair where it needs to be tamed. As specified on the back of hte box, it leaves the hair with a natural matte finish.

Packaging design is a black plastic jar with a twist and turn lid. Text is in gold color. Nothing fancy but practical.

After taking off the lid, you will notice one of two things. The first is the clean scent (Soft Green Petal Floral) while the other is that the wax is rock hard. What you will need to do is take a small amount into your hands and rub vigorously to warm the product up. Afterwards, apply it on dry hair to create the desired design style. You might even notice that after it cools down, nothing can virtually move your hair since it is rock hard now. But don’t worry, it doesn’t leave white residues or flakes which is super nice.

When I first used this product, I remember scooping out too much. It was because I had thought for a solid style, it required that much wax. However, I put back 1/2 the amount and it was enough to sculpt the hair. So remember less is more. This wax works really well to hold hair in shape even in extreme weather condition, like hot, humid and even windy. So if you’re thinking of going to the beach, this wax will be ideal.

Wow a little bit of it is enough to style an entire hair? AMAZING.

It is like super glue but not that extreme. It is a really easy product to mold and design hair with.
